Lindsay Matthews, Communications

Lindsay brings a unique and multi-faceted perspective and background to the WHIAN team. More importantly, she is excited to grow with and continue working with folks in the network.

A freelance communications consultant, specializing in all things digital, Lindsay is well on her way to launching her own full fledged digital communications firm. Lindsay’s experience in social media management, content strategy and digital analytics began while interning for the White House Office of Digital Strategy, crafting content for the whitehouse.gov and letsmove.gov sites and microblogs. In the time and projects since then, she has also added digital brand management to her skills arsenal. All things considered, creating messaging and visual content designed to engage members of the WHIAN network is right up her alley.

Having a B.A. in public relations and communications from Hampton University (Hampton, VA), Lindsay has a vested interest in communications, and because of her recent work, is on the path to pursuing a Masters in Branding.
